💨 Abstract
Researchers at IIT Guwahati have developed a photocatalytic material that converts carbon dioxide into methanol fuel using sunlight. This innovation aims to reduce carbon emissions and meet rising energy demands sustainably. The team combined graphitic carbon nitride with few-layer graphene to minimize energy loss and enhance fuel generation. The catalyst with 15% graphene showed the most efficient conversion and stability. This technology could be applied in industries like thermal power plants and steel production, supporting a cleaner energy future.
