Indian bank loans increased by 11.5% in the two weeks ending October 18 compared to the previous year, while deposits rose by 11.7%. However, outstanding loans decreased by 595.28 billion rupees, and non-food credit dropped by 603.81 billion rupees. Food credit, on the other hand, rose by 8.53 billion rupees.
