💨 Abstract
In Mumbai, eight senior IPS officers have been transferred. Sharada Raut, who has rejoined the Maharashtra Police from the CBI, is now the Special IGP of the newly created Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF). Ravindra Shisve, previously the Mumbai Railway Police Commissioner, will replace Raut as Joint Commissioner in the State Intelligence Department. The Maharashtra Cabinet approved 346 new ANTF posts in February to bolster anti-narcotics efforts.
