On May 24, train services on the Konkan Railway route were disrupted due to a landslide between Vervali and Vilavade stations in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri district. Shortly after 6:30 PM, a large boulder fell on the tracks amid heavy rainfall, halting train traffic on the Mumbai-Goa route. Services were restored around 8 PM after debris were cleared.
