💨 Abstract

On May 14, 2025, Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma inaugurated a Rs 2.52 crore bamboo processing unit in Sairang near Aizawl. The unit, under the National Bamboo Mission, includes a bamboo treatment plant, depot, warehouse, and an activated charcoal unit. Lalduhoma highlighted the potential of bamboo to drive Mizoram's economy and create jobs sustainably.
