💨 Abstract
The Indian rupee neared its all-time low on Thursday due to the Federal Reserve's likelihood of delaying interest rate cuts and concerns about Middle East tensions affecting oil prices. The rupee was quoted at 83.9375 to the U.S. dollar, close to its lifetime low of 83.9850. The Reserve Bank of India is expected to intervene to prevent the rupee from falling below 84.
