đź’¨ Abstract
The Supreme Court of India declined to hear a plea seeking a probe into the Murshidabad violence in West Bengal, which occurred after protests related to the recently amended Waqf law. The court, consisting of Justices Surya Kant and N. Kotiswar Singh, directed the petitioner, Satish Kumar Aggarwal, to file his petition in the high court instead, suggesting he can do so online due to safety concerns.
