💨 Abstract
The Ajit Pawar-led NCP is open to discussing a merger with the Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SP) faction, despite dismissing current merger rumors as media speculation. The NCP (SP) camp has denied any discussions on a merger, focusing instead on upcoming local body elections and addressing issues like corruption and unemployment. The NCP split in July 2023 when Ajit Pawar joined the BJP-led Mahayuti government.
