💨 Abstract
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed condolences for BSF jawan Ram Babu Singh, who died after being injured in firing by Pakistani troops in Jammu and Kashmir. Kumar announced an ex-gratia payment of ₹50 lakhs to Singh's family and full state honors for his last rites in his native Siwan district. Singh, recently married, was injured on May 9. His remains are expected to arrive in Bihar later in the evening.
