💨 Abstract
Heavy rain in Bengaluru over the past 36 hours caused widespread disruption, with knee-deep water and traffic jams. Five rain-related deaths were reported in the state. Sai Layout was severely affected, with homes half-submerged and 150 people rescued. The downpour also impacted an orphanage in Hennur and created chaotic conditions for commuters. Two people, including a 12-year-old, were electrocuted while trying to drain water from an apartment.
