💨 Abstract
In Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, a transgender person, Seema, was brutally attacked on Tuesday by a group of youths. The assault, which occurred at 8 am, is believed to be a retaliation for a previous altercation during a 'tilak' ceremony. Seema was critically injured and taken to a district hospital. The attack led to a gathering of transgender individuals demanding justice. The police detained two suspects and are investigating the incident.
