💨 Abstract
Tipra Motha MLA Ranjit Debbarma called on the central, state, and Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) governments to launch an operation to detect and deport illegal Bangladeshi migrants in Tripura. He cited widespread illegal settlements on government and reserved lands, threats to internal security, and national security concerns exacerbated by ongoing Indo-Pak tensions. Debbarma also noted the acquisition of Indian documents by migrants and their presence in religious institutions.
