đ¨ Abstract
Residents in India's northern states, including Delhi, experienced another day of severe air pollution on Tuesday due to a layer of dense fog and farm fires in nearby states. The air quality index (AQI) peaked at 491 on Monday, necessitating restrictions on vehicle movement, construction, and online classes. On Tuesday, Delhi's AQI reading was 488, with five stations reporting an AQI of 500.
