💨 Abstract
Residents along the Line of Control and International Border in Jammu live in fear due to unexploded mortar shells, despite a ceasefire. Balvinder Singh and Sardar Gurmeet Singh both recounted narrow escapes. The Indian Army has been defusing these shells, having cleared over 80 in the past five days. Recent hostilities between India and Pakistan left 27 civilians dead and 70 injured.
