In Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, police arrested two members of an inter-state narcotics gang with 6.5 kg of opium worth about Rs 32.5 lakh. Pawan Singh from Bareilly and Khushbu from Bihar were caught, with Singh revealing ties to a gang smuggling opium from Bihar and Jharkhand, led by a man named Netrapal. Khushbu had transported the narcotics from Bihar.
