President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday the lifting of Syria's sanctions to boost reconstruction, acting on a request from Saudi Arabia's Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Trump also dispatched the Saudi government to invest $600 billion in the United States. The U.S. also agreed to sell Saudi Arabia an extensive arms package, worth nearly $142 billion.
