In Hyderabad, a deputy superintendent of police, already arrested for bribery, was additionally booked for illegal possession of 21 bullets and 69 empty shells found during an ACB search. Earlier, the ACB arrested this officer and an inspector for demanding a bribe of Rs 16 lakh from a complainant in exchange for official favors, including avoiding arrest and allowing a scanning center to operate without interference.
