💨 Abstract
The Allahabad High Court has dismissed a petition seeking 10% Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) reservation for 69,000 assistant teacher posts in Uttar Pradesh. The court noted that the recruitment process had already concluded, and implementing EWS reservation at this stage would be impractical. The bench stated that it would be difficult to identify EWS candidates and prepare a merit list, as the initial examination forms did not require EWS status details.
