💨 Abstract
The Supreme Court of India will hear arguments on May 20 regarding interim relief in the challenge to the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025. The key issues to be addressed include the power to denotify properties declared as waqf, the composition of state waqf boards and the Central Waqf Council, and the treatment of waqf properties during government inquiries. Both sides have been asked to submit written notes by May 19.
