💨 Abstract

In Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi, a 24-year-old woman, Sangeeta Rajput, was fatally shot at 3 am in her home by two men from the neighboring Kannauj district, just days before her wedding. The family identified the assailants, who escaped after the incident, with Sangeeta's mother sustaining injuries while trying to apprehend them. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. The wedding was scheduled for May 15.
