💨 Abstract

Parkrun, a free 5km run organized by volunteers, has celebrated its 20th anniversary with record turnouts worldwide. Started by Paul Sinton-Hewitt in London, it has grown to over 2,500 venues in 23 countries, promoting health and community spirit. The event is for all ages, shapes, and sizes, with a focus on encouraging less sporty individuals to participate.
