In the All India FIDE Rating Open Chess Tournament, Shraddha Padvekar (1588 rating) from Palghar defeated Woman Candidate Master Kriti Patel (1829 rating) in a third-round match on Sunday. Shraddha used the English opening, while Kriti opted for a neo-Catalan defense. Shraddha won in 63 moves on the sixth board.
