British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced plans to intensify efforts against criminal networks facilitating illegal migration in the Western Balkans. During his visit to Albania, Starmer introduced measures to prevent deported Albanian nationals from returning and to curb money laundering. He also expanded a joint migration task force to include North Macedonia and Montenegro and provided forgery detection machines to stop fake passports.
