💨 Abstract
Denmark is revisiting its 40-year ban on nuclear power to bolster energy security, with a focus on new technologies like small, modular reactors. Minister Lars Aagaard emphasized wind and solar as primary energy sources but acknowledged potential in advanced nuclear technologies. Aagaard ruled out a return to traditional nuclear power. Denmark previously celebrated the shutdown of Sweden's nearby Barseback 2 reactor, while Sweden is now pro-nuclear.
