💨 Abstract
Diplomats from Kenya and the Dominican Republic met in Santo Domingo to urge the international community to fulfill and increase funding for the UN-backed security mission in Haiti. The Multinational Security Support (MSS) mission, led by Kenya, is struggling to combat worsening gang violence due to financial and logistical constraints. In the first quarter of 2025, more than 1,600 people were killed and over 1 million displaced in Haiti.
