💨 Abstract
nuclear watchdog chief Rafael Grossi has expressed optimism about a possible increase in cooperation with Iran following talks in New York. Grossi met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and hopes to visit Tehran in October. The IAEA has long-standing issues with Iran, including barring of uranium-enrichment experts and failing to explain uranium traces found at undeclared sites.
