Iran has launched missiles at Israel in retaliation for the killing of several leaders of Iran-aligned armed groups, according to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi. He stated that Iran's action was self-defense and concluded, but warned that further retaliation would result in a stronger response. The Iranian foreign ministry also called on the United Nations Security Council to prevent threats against regional peace and security.
