💨 Abstract
Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin will visit China from January 7 to 11, meeting President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang in Beijing, and then traveling to Shanghai. This is the first visit by an Irish Taoiseach to China since 2012. The trip aims to strengthen political ties and expand cooperation between the two countries. Martin's visit coincides with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung's trip, which focuses on AI and tech cooperation.
