💨 Abstract
In Pakistan, Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan has been appointed as the head of the first-ever constitutional bench in the Supreme Court, as per a recent amendment that increased legislator's power in appointing the top judge. The Judicial Commission of Pakistan, created by the amendment, appointed Khan by a 7-5 majority vote. The constitutional bench will handle constitutional and political disputes, consisting of seven members with representation from all four provinces.
