💨 Abstract
The Mexican Navy ship "Cuauhtémoc" crashed into New York's Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday, leaving two cadets dead and 20 injured. The ship did not make distress calls before the accident. The Mexican Navy chief, Raymundo Morales, stated that the port pilot had little time to stop the vessel, which was docked near the bridge. A U.S. investigation is underway to examine potential mechanical issues and the role of a tugboat.
