💨 Abstract
A Mexican ship, the Cuauhtemoc, crashed into New York's Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday, killing two and injuring 20. The ship did not make distress calls before the incident but called for support, according to Mexico's navy chief. The accident happened shortly after sunset as the ship was departing from Pier 17. The investigation, which will consider possible engine failure and the tugboat's role, is expected to take at least 30 days.
