💨 Abstract
North Korea launched several ballistic missiles from Pyongyang towards the sea off its east coast on Sunday. This is the first such launch in two months and comes as South Korean President Lee Jae Myung is set to visit China, where peace on the Korean peninsula will be discussed. South Korea's military is on high alert and coordinating with the U.S. and Japan. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has been increasing weapons production and testing ahead of the Ninth Party Congress.
