💨 Abstract
In Caracas, Venezuela, 14 media workers were detained while covering political events, including a march supporting ousted President Nicolas Maduro and the swearing-in of the new legislature. All were later released, with one foreign journalist deported. The detentions occurred after Maduro's arrest by the U.S. military and his subsequent plea of not guilty to narcoterrorism charges in New York. Vice President Delcy Rodriguez is now the interim leader.
