đź’¨ Abstract
Pakistan confirmed its commitment to a ceasefire with India, agreed after a week of intense fighting, but warned it would respond strongly to any future aggression. This comes after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed to target terrorist hideouts in Pakistan, rejecting nuclear deterrence. Both countries have expelled diplomats amid escalating tensions over Kashmir. The U.S. played a role in securing the ceasefire. Each side accuses the other of provocations and civilian casualties.
