Pakistan's Punjab government has declared smog a "health crisis" due to hazardous levels that have caused millions of residents to report breathing problems and other respiratory issues over the past month. The government used artificial rain in several cities to combat the smog, including a successful cloud seeding experiment in Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, and Gujar Khan.
