💨 Abstract

The Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) organized protests and an awareness campaign in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) demanding the implementation of an agreement between JAAC and the PoJK administration. The agreement, signed in May 2024, promised reduced electricity bill tariffs, more control over taxation, and increased control of the JAAC in government decision-making processes.
