💨 Abstract
On May 14 a Mumbai court acquitted gangster Arun Gawli, his brother, and five gang members of a 2008 extortion case, stating that the prosecution failed to prove the charges. Charges alleged that the Gang extorted a builder with ₹50 lakhs to continue his Dadar reconstruction project in 2005.
