💨 Abstract
Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner met with Pope Leo XIV, an amateur tennis enthusiast, at the Vatican. The newly elected pope, who has a background in tennis, joked about not wanting to play against Sinner. Sinner, who is participating in the Italian Open, presented the pope with one of his rackets. The pontiff declined an impromptu match, but expressed support for the sport.
