đź’¨ Abstract
A Palestinian rights group, Al-Haq, is challenging the British government in the High Court over its decision to allow the export of F-35 fighter jet components to Israel. The group argues that this decision is unlawful because it breaches international humanitarian law, particularly in light of Israel's actions in Gaza. The UK had initially suspended some arms export licenses but exempted F-35 parts due to concerns about international security and U.S. confidence.
