💨 Abstract
The President of the General Assembly, Philemon Yang, urged G20 countries to lead in realizing the goals set out in the Summit of the Future pact. He called for reforms in the international financial architecture for equitability and effectiveness. Yang appreciated Brazil's initiative to convene the G20 meeting, open to all UN Member States, and recognized the leadership of previous G20 presidencies, including India.
