💨 Abstract
Malnutrition rates in Gaza are surging, risking the health of an entire generation. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that half a million people face starvation due to Israel's blockade since March, which has restricted supplies. WHO's Rik Peeperkorn observed severe acute malnutrition in children, with 55 deaths reported. The blockade limits medical supplies, and children are dying from related illnesses like pneumonia. Both Israel and Hamas blame each other for the crisis.
