💨 Abstract
The Cape of Good Hope SPCA, along with the DFFE and Cape Town Law Enforcement, conducted a joint operation at Hout Bay Harbour to stop illegal seal feeding and harassment, a practice that has persisted for over 20 years. Four arrests were made—three for violating NEMBA and Marine TOPS Regulations, and one for obstructing officials. Illegal feeding endangers seals, tourists, and carries severe penalties.
