💨 Abstract

A young British bride suffered heat exhaustion during a honeymoon hike on Table Mountain’s Platteklip Gorge trail. A passing mountain guide provided aid and called emergency services. Wilderness Search and Rescue (WSAR) and SANParks rangers were dispatched, treating the woman and escorting her to safety.
