đź’¨ Abstract
In October 2025, South African petrol prices are expected to rise by 8 to 16 cents per litre, while diesel prices may drop by 9 to 10 cents per litre. This forecast is due to steady Brent Crude oil prices around $67 per barrel and a stronger rand, which helps buffer against sharp fuel price increases. The announced changes are projected to take effect at the beginning of October, pending final confirmation.
