💨 Abstract
South Africa awaits the U.S. decision on its AGOA eligibility on November 2. Trade Minister Parks Tau assures that the economy will remain stable regardless of the outcome. AGOA provides duty-free access to the U.S. market for over 1,800 products. Tau has engaged constructively with the U.S. and remains hopeful for a positive response. South Africa is also diversifying its export markets and has made progress in negotiations with the EU.
