💨 Abstract
From August 2025, the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) will introduce a fourth payment date for grants to manage increased verification checks. This comes as SASSA tightens its eligibility criteria, leading to delays and suspensions for beneficiaries undergoing reviews. The new payment date ensures reviewed beneficiaries receive their grants timeously after completing the process.
