💨 Abstract
The once-luxurious Fish River Sun Hotel and Golf Resort in South Africa’s Eastern Cape has fallen into ruin. Opened in 1989 by Sol Kerzner, the resort boasted a golf course, casino, and luxury amenities. Its decline began after South Africa’s 1994 democratic transition, leading to legal disputes over land ownership and the loss of its casino license.
