The Oncology Department at Groote Schuur Hospital in the Western Cape has opened an upgraded outpatient chemotherapy room and modernized pharmacy facilities. This R5.2 million project, funded collaboratively, aims to improve care for around 3,000 new cancer patients annually by reducing overcrowding and enhancing patient comfort and safety.
