đź’¨ Abstract
This September and October, the Western Cape Blood Service (WCBS) is encouraging South Africans to donate blood as part of Heritage Month celebrations. The campaign, "Giving is in my blood," aims to prevent blood stock shortages. One unit of blood can save up to three lives. Donors are advised to eat a hearty meal before donating and will receive a free water bottle. Those unable to donate can contribute R15 to the South African Bone Marrow Registry. Visit wcbs.org
