💨 Abstract
President Trump used fake images and misleading information to support claims of a "white genocide" in South Africa during a meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa. The images, which Trump claimed showed murdered white farmers, were actually from a different African country and unrelated incidents. Fact-checkers and reports cited that the images were misrepresented. The meeting also featured a video of Julius Malema, but the imagery shown was also misleading and inaccurately represented.
